Upped ratings and potential of underrated guys (ie Makar, Fox, Kadri, Mangiapane, etc) and decreased ratings of declining veterans (ie Wheeler, Ekman-Larsson, Monahan and most of the free-agent list). Adjusted certain players shot/pass bias (Ie bumped up shot tendencies of Pastrnak, Makar, etc, bumped down Seguin and others) and fixed many player type/position errors as I noticed them. Have also adjusted many young players who are currently in the NHL.Īll teams are cap compliant (tested in franchise mode) - no major contracts are auto-adjusted due to strategic adjusting of certain less consequential contracts on problem teams.Īll recent contract extensions and waiver claims have been updated (players who have moved teams have preferred jersey numbers up-to-date for new team). Unsigned drafted players are set to draft year of 2021 to ensure their team retains their rights for 3 years in game (to decrease likelihood that these guys hit free agency). All created players have my best approximation of player likenesses, correct jersey number preferences, and shot/pass bias. My main focus for my roster has been on getting the little things right for a more enjoyable franchise experience. Updated dozens of players around the league based on breakout seasons/rookies who have made the show and downgraded some players who have been struggling. Newest players added: Frank Nazar, Seamus Casey, Ben Meyers. However, I have amassed over 70 created players including some of the top drafted (and a few undrafted) college and KHL-affiliated players.
